Accra, May 19, GNA – The Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic will resume Sitting on Thursday, May 21, 2026, Speaker of Parliament, Mr Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has announced.
In a formal notice issued from the Office of the Speaker, and made available to the Ghana News Agency, it stated that the Second Meeting of the Second Session would commence at 1000 hours at Parliament House, Accra.
“The convening is in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of the Parliament of Ghana,” the noticed signed by Mr Bagbin said.
Lawmakers are expected to return to Parliament House to continue legislative business for the Session.
The upcoming Meeting will be the second for the Second Session of the current Parliament.
The House adjourned sine die on Friday, March 27, for the Easter festivities.
