According to Forum, Joshua set the record on February 2, 2026, after completing the marathon in Abuja, describing the feat as a symbol of resilience, purpose, and triumph over adversity.

It was gathered while growing up in Aguda, Surulere, Lagos, Joshua had faced difficult circumstances, but chose to focus on developing his skills as a barber.

His dedication eventually earned him recognition as the official barber of Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

“Our goal is to empower these young minds to drive Nigeria’s growth and become a force for positive change,” Joshua stated.

From the streets of Surulere to the Guinness World Records, Joshua’s journey no doubt reflects resilience and the power of determination to overcome hardship.
