Nigerian celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest has reacted after an Igbo youth expressed betrayal over his support for President Tinubu in the upcoming election. Chief Priest had shared a video of the buses Igbo businessmen donated to support Tinubu’s re-election.
Chief Priest stated that their minds are made up and their goal is to deliver Tinubu and make him a favourite among South Easterners. The socialite added that they wouldn’t be on the bench for another four years, declaring that removing Tinubu is impossible and stating that no party comes close.
In his comment section, an Igbo youth expresses betrayal over their support.
“As an Igbo boy, I feel betrayed”.
Responding to him, Chief Priest questioned whether it was his money they used in buying the buses. He made him know that they’re just starting.
“Na your money Zenco take buy the bus? Una never see film sef”.
Last year, following the life sentencing of Nnamdi Kanu, Chief Priest had written a letter to Tinubu informing him that he would never receive 10,000 votes from the South East in 2027 if Nnamdi remained in jail. He told him to either appeal this judgment and get it right or be ready to check out of the Villa in 2027.
Making a u-turn, he said that all hope was not lost, as his votes are secured. He told the president to listen to the delegation coming to meet him and let Nnamdi come home and fix the Southeast.
During the heat of the Benue Killings, Chief Priest had called on Tinubu to put an end to open grazing. He passionately appealed to the President to immediately outlaw open grazing across the country, noting the brutal level of damage it caused.
In May, Chief Priest had met President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Sharing a video of the moment he met the President, he stated that people can never break them and revealed that his desire for the president is more than he can explain.
Reacting to the backlash he received for kneeling to greet the President, CP, as he is fondly known as noted how his haters are envious of him. He added that he understands the game better now, as he noted how those who keep showing fake love end up losing.
