Manchester united forward Greenwood was suspended by the club, after he was accused of rape and assault by his Girlfriend Harriet. After his case was dropped due to luck of enough evidence, united fans were happy and they wanted to see Greenwood back in action for the red devils.
Manchester gave a statement about the return of Greenwood, and the statement read that Greenwood was to play for the club after the club completes conducting its investigations on him.
Despite not playing for manchester united Greenwood is still a united player, as the club hasn’t terminated his contract yet. Mason Greenwood has continued to receive his £70,000-a-week wages since being suspended and the remaining value of his contract is understood to be £8.1m, which may have to pay off if they choose to dismiss him at the end of the season. We all hope that united finish their investigations soon, so as to allow the young talent to be back in action as soon as possible.
