Police have arrested Riangombe primary school headteacher after one of the pupils was injured after a beating from one of the school teachers.

The police arrested Isabella Kumenda the headteacher after the 9-year-old child from that school several injuries in allegations that he lost the uniform.

According to Egesa Fm reports, it is alleged that the grade 4 child received more than 100 canes as a form of punishment after losing the uniform.

Mr. Jackson Marucha the alleged culprit has gone missing since he came to terms with his search by the police for the brutal act. His disappearance forced the police to take action for the administration as they sought justice for the pupil.

Arrested together with the headteacher, the deputy headteacher, and the boarding master teacher of the school and they are held with police at Manga Borabu police station awaiting completion of investigations.
