Moi University: MU TV Launched Today By Prof. Isaac Kosgey

Moi University has earlier today launch the institution’s online television named MU TV. This comes after the fall of KTS television station which closed in the year 2016 over the heavy mounting debts therefore the university couldn’t pay for the airtime anymore.

The launching was a success as the students in the faculty of Information Science were able to interact with popular media personality in Kenya who are the aluminum of the University, faculty of Information Sciences. These includes the kind of Willis Raburu, Alex Chamwanda and Ann Soi. Ann Soi who works for BBC African was able to attend the physical launching where as the rest attended the event through zoom meeting.

The chief guest who is the Vice Chancellor, Prof Isaac Kosgei stated that the idea of MU TV came from the media students and their lectures and as the institution they will support them all the way. Adding to this, Kosgei said that it is an opportunity for students to practices their skills and sharpen it since they are under directives of their Senior Lecturers.
