Uhuru Kenyatta is keen to ensure whoever takes from him as the 5th president is someone who can carry on his agenda and the country is safe. After falling out with his deputy, Uhuru has unleashed seven plans to destroy DP Ruto.
The president crafted the Azimio movement to counter what Ruto had started in the name of huster movement which later became Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Ruto having started campaigning four years ago and it reached a time when he was the only person running for presidential seat, Uhuru publicly endorsed Raila Odinga to tame Ruto since he is the only person who has mechanism and energy to defeat Ruto.
Third point is that, Uhuru has deployed state machinery to help Raila, in terms of funding to using state resources to popularize Raila.
The president revived his Jubilee party which was on ther verge of collapsing. Party symbol was changed and even party officials were changed to give it a new outlook to compete and counter UDA party.
The fifth point is that Uhuru has painted Ruto to an enemy of Mount kenya region through campaigns and meetings he had in the region.
The sixth point is that Uhuru has told the entire nation that, Ruto wanted to impeach him. When he discovered that he reached to Raila for handshake and stabilize the government.
The seventh point is that, Uhuru has decided to back regional parties all over the country to be able to weaken the DP in all regions of the country.
