The Supreme Court of Kenya has delivered another shocker ruling regarding marriages in the country, just after making ruling that in case of a divorce partners will have to share their wealth according to their contributions to the achievement of the wealth.

According to a report by Nation Newspaper today, the Apex Court has once again delivered a ruling which might leave Kenyans talking about it for a while. Where the court has said that ‘come we stay’ is not a marriage no matter the years which partners stay together.

That type of marriage is null and void according to the law and it will not be recognised by any court in the country, even if the partners stay for decades together as long as they don’t have a marriage certificate they cannot be identified as a couple.
