Fans of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! were in for a treat back in 2023, when hosts Ant and Dec presented a special All Stars edition of the show, called I’m A Celeb: South Africa. Featuring former camp mates from the last 20 years, the show was won by Myleene Klass, but it didn’t return in 2024 or 2025.

Three years later, the show returned to screens on 6th April 2026 and it’s safe to say it returned with a LOT of drama! Following the final on Friday 24th April , here’s your ultimate guide to I’m A Celeb: South Africa.

When is the final?

The live final took place on Friday 24th April 2026, split into two parts.

Part one aired between 7.30-9pm, with the winner then revealed during part two between 10-10.30pm.

Who was in the final?

Following Scarlett Moffatt’s exit during the penultimate episode, four celebs made it to the live final, including Sir Mo Farah, Harry Redknapp, Adam Thomas and Craig Charles.

Who won?

Following a public vote, it was Adam Thomas who was crowned the latest I’m A Celeb Legend.

How did the voting work?

Voting took place via the ITV/STV app, where each user were given a number of free votes.

Where was the final?

The final will took place at Versa Studios in London.

Was the show live?

The series once again been pre-recorded, but in an exciting twist, the public were given the power to decide who was crowned the ultimate legend 2026.

After weeks of shocks, showdown and survival, viewers were able to have their say and cast the final vote in a live grand final broadcast direct from London.

Which celebs took part?

The official line-up was revealed at 1pm on Monday 9th March, including the likes of Scarlett Moffatt, Gemma Collins and Sir Mo Farah.

First exit: Seann Walsh (Thursday 16th April)

Second exit: David Haye (Monday 20th April)

Third exit: Gemma Collins (Monday 20th April)

Fourth exit: Ashley Roberts (Wednesday 22nd April)

Fifth exit: Sinitta (Wednesday 22nd April)

Sixth out: Scarlett Moffatt (Thursday 23rd April)

When was it on TV?

The second series of I’m a Celeb: South Africa kicked off on 6th April 2026.

It aired every weeknight for three weeks, with the live final taking place on Friday 24th April.

When was the second series announced?

After rumours about a second series were rife, ITV/STV confirmed the news in September 2025, revealing the show will return in 2026.

Ant said of the news at the time: “The campmates really brought their A-game to the first series so we can’t wait to be back for more trials, challenges and surprises amongst the beautiful South African landscape.”

Dec added: “Having a live final is an exciting addition to the new series with the viewers choosing their IAC Legend and we’ve heard some of the new trials are truly epic, even by I’m A Celeb… standards!.”

Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment, Reality & Daytime Commissioning at ITV, said: “We were blown away by the love for the first series of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa. It was a true celebration of the show’s history and viewers loved seeing their favourite campmates return to their screens. We can’t wait to do it all again next year with a whole new cohort, and have the audience crown the winner during a live final for the first time.”

Tom Gould, Director of Entertainment & Formats, Lifted Entertainment, then added: “We’re very excited to have some more of the most memorable campmates from previous series returning to take on terrifying trials and face challenging twists and difficult decisions, in the tougher setting of South Africa. It will test them to their limits, and with a live final, this time viewers will get to decide who truly deserves the title of I’m A Celebrity Legend”.

When was the first series?

Filmed in 2022, the first series of I’m A Celeb: South Africa aired between Monday 24th April and Friday 12th May 2023, with former camp mates such as Joe Swash, Jordan Banjo, Andy Whyment and Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo all taking part.

Four celebs made it to the final, including Jordan Banjo, Myleene Klass, Fatima Whitbread and Phil Tufnell, with Myleene being crowned the first ‘Legend’.

The first two series of I’m A Celeb: South Africa are available to watch now on ITVX and STV Player now.
