The President, John Dramani Mahama, has been featured in publications and foreign media for the right reasons.
His assumption of office has brought an interesting and stellar display of his witty persona.
More of it, Mr President—because many people in other countries, from their point of view, wish they had a leader like you.
A case in point was when the President called forward a gentleman with a seeming concern at the Kwaku Business Forum, and humorously remarked, “Ghana is the land of free speech.”
This moment highlighted an important aspect of leadership—communication.
s a communication expert, he demonstrates that people are not necessarily swayed by words alone when it comes to development but effective communication adds a certain finesse to leadership.
It helps to calm tense moments, offer reassurance, and connect naturally with the needs of the people.
Let us not forget how such moments project our country onto the global stage and enhance its image as a bastion of democracy.
His storytelling approach to issues remains compelling—a narrative that consistently runs through his speeches.
It is bold to say that the President has set a standard for how the presidency should be handled.
Ghanaians truly want him to succeed, and while I believe he is on track in terms of development, more is still expected of him.
