Socialite Isaac Fayose has fired back at Cubana Chief Priest in the latest chapter of their ongoing online feud, asserting that in a “normal country,” the nightlife mogul should be behind bars. The response comes after Cubana Chief Priest described Isaac Fayose as “senseless” and “useless” for claiming that Igbos are the greediest Nigerians.
Isaac Fayose had previously voiced his strong disapproval of Obi Cubana and other Igbo leaders for actively supporting Bola Tinubu’s campaign for the next election while allegedly failing to secure the release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu. He also questioned Cubana Chief Priest’s source of wealth, challenging how he managed to amass such a fortune.
Cubana Chief Priest blasts Isaac Fayose, stressing that he is richer and more useful to Nigeria in terms of his real estate business and other businesses, than Isaac Fayose, whose elder brother was the former Governor of Ekiti State.
However, in a video he recorded and shared on social media, Fayose dismissed the comparison, saying, “Cubana Chiefpriest, what is your problem? You and I are not on the same league; you are a little boy.”
He added that even those Cubana Chiefpriest follows started from Fayose’s club when they were coming up, emphasizing that experience and longevity matter more than overnight wealth.
Addressing the source of the socialite’s wealth, Fayose warned, “If we were in a normal country where they check wealth, you should be in jail by now because Hushpuppi did more than you and now he is in jail. We do not know the source of your wealth, so keep quiet and enjoy what you have for now.”
In the clip, Fayose also referenced political connections, saying, “The president you are bragging with now was once a governor. My own brother was also a governor as at that time, so you can imagine.”
He further stood by his earlier comments about the Igbos, describing them as “easy to buy and money-driven,” adding, “I do not regret my statement at all. I have said it, and that is your problem.” He concluded.
