Julius Debrah to mark 60th birthday with thanksgiving service on April 26

Ghana’s Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, will celebrate his 60th birthday with a special thanksgiving service scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2026.

The event, themed “A Thanksgiving Service in Honour of a Life of Impact”, is expected to bring together family, friends, government officials, and well-wishers to reflect on six decades of what organisers describe as “Leadership, Service & National Impact.”

The service will take place at 8:00 a.m. at the PIWC Pentecost Church, Trasacco Branch, near the Zoomlion Head Office in Accra. Participants are expected to be dressed in all white, in line with the official dress code indicated on the invitation flyer.

According to organisers, the all-white attire symbolises purity, gratitude, and victory, setting the tone for a solemn but celebratory gathering to honour the Chief of Staff’s life and public service.

Hon. Julius Debrah has been a key figure in Ghana’s governance system, currently serving as Chief of Staff. He previously held roles as Minister for Local Government and Rural Development and as Eastern Regional Minister. Over the years, he has been widely recognised for his experience in public administration and coordination of government operations.

The thanksgiving service is expected to attract dignitaries from across the political and religious spectrum, underscoring his long-standing involvement in national development and public service.

While some references have placed his birthday period in May, the official flyer confirms that the thanksgiving service will be held on April 26, 2026, marking the milestone in advance of the month.
