Social media users have reacted with mixed opinions after a young lady was seen celebrating excitedly upon checking her 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result. The moment was shared on TikTok by a user identified as @boiprime1, who recorded himself checking the result on behalf of his younger sister. Before revealing the result, the TikToker jokingly teased her, suggesting she might have failed, which appeared to heighten her tension.
However, when the result was finally displayed, it (WATCH VIDEO) showed that the candidate scored 214 in the examination. Her subject breakdown included 50 in English Language, 48 in Government, 62 in Literature in English, and 54 in Christian Religious Studies (CRS).
Upon seeing her score, the young lady immediately jumped up in excitement, celebrating joyfully in what many described as a moment filled with positive energy.
The video has since gone viral, with some social media users questioning the level of excitement over the score, while others defended her reaction, noting that success is relative and worth celebrating.
