Toyota South Africa brings the Beautiful Game to the Amakhosi Nation
Toyota South Africa (TSAM) and Kaizer Chiefs Football Club are proud to announce a nationwide series of fan experience days, designed to bring fans of the celebrated African giant closer to the action in regions that have historically had limited access.
Activating across three cities in 2026, the tour will visit KuGompo City, Rustenburg and eMalahleni. The initiative is built on a simple belief: show up where the fans are, not just where the games are.
At the heart of each event is the Toyota ‘Golden Cross’. The platform at the centre of Toyota and Kaizer Chiefs’ ‘What It Means’ campaign, where fans are invited to share What It Means to be part of Amakhosi Nation. All filmed in a specifically created booth in the Toyota Corolla Cross. Each fan sharing will automatically be entered in a draw to win a VIP Game Day experience to the last Kaizer Chiefs match of the season at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. Inclusive of accommodation, travel, VIP suite tickets, a Kaizer Chiefs jersey and merchandise. Winners will be announced on the day of the 16th of May.
Each day’s event will feature a full 12 pm -7 pm programme of entertainment, including a DJ, MC and live screenings of the Kaizer Chiefs PSL matches. Supporters will also have the opportunity to meet Kaizer Chiefs legends Cyril Nzama and Siyabonga Nomvethe.
A highlight of the day will be the 5-a-Side Tournament, open to eight teams. Teams will compete for cash prizes, merch and medals – with finalists receiving a coaching session from Nzama and Nomvethe. Teams will be randomly selected by Kaizer Chiefs, with 40 participation spots available per event.
Tournament Prizes:
Champs: A share of R5 000 in Takealot vouchers.
Runner’s Up: A share of R3 000 in Takealot vouchers.
Third Spot: A share of R2 000 in Takealot vouchers.
Instant prizes and Toyota-branded giveaways, including bucket hats and Kaizer Chiefs merchandise, will be up for grabs throughout the day. Entry to all events is free and open to all fans in each region.
