Ketu North MP to host fourth Quarterly Accountability Forum in Tadzewu

By Michael Foli Jackidy

Dzodze (V/R), April 14, GNA – Mr Eric Edem Agbana, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu North, is set to host his fourth Quarterly Accountability Series since assuming office, marking the first edition for 2026.

The forum is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, at Tadzewu, and forms part of the MP’s commitment to transparency, citizen engagement, and responsive governance.

The event will provide a comprehensive update on key governance issues, including a review of the President’s achievements so far, a briefing from the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), and a report from Parliament.

It will also highlight progress made on the MP’s campaign promises and development priorities within the constituency.

A key feature of the programme will be an open forum session, where constituents will have the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarifications, and directly engage their elected representatives on issues affecting their communities.

Since his election, Mr Agbana has consistently organised quarterly engagements to account for his stewardship, a move widely seen as strengthening democratic participation and trust between leadership and the people.

The Accountability Series has already been held across various zones in the constituency, including Ehi in the Weta Zone, Dzodze, and Penyi, drawing significant public participation and feedback.

The upcoming Tadzewu edition is expected to consolidate these efforts by offering residents another platform to assess progress, contribute ideas, and participate in local governance.

Observers say such initiatives are crucial in deepening grassroots’ democracy and ensuring public officials remain accessible and accountable to the people they serve.
