Nigerian reality TV star Phyna’s Twitch account has been temporarily suspended after the platform flagged her content for violating its Community Guidelines, specifically citing sexual content.
Naija News reports that the action was taken on March 1, 2026, and includes a one‑day streaming suspension, barring her from livestreaming and some platform features for roughly 24 hours.
According to the notice, the violation will remain on her record until May 30, 2026, and Phyna may appeal the suspension or submit a counter‑notification under Twitch’s DMCA guidelines if she believes there was an error.
In the account notification, Twitch informed her, “Your account has been temporarily suspended from streaming. You will not have access to some features related to streaming for the duration of your suspension.”
The suspension came just after a livestream session Phyna had scheduled with another influencer, which she had tagged 18+.
That age‑restriction tag and the nature of the content she broadcast are believed to have contributed to Twitch’s decision to enforce the guideline strike.
Phyna rose to prominence after competing on Big Brother Naija Season 7 (Level Up), where she was crowned the winner.
She secured the title at the finale on October 2, 2022, earning a grand prize worth around ₦100 million.
Before her reality TV fame, she worked as a commercial model and later became a content creator, hype personality, fashion entrepreneur and recently, an actress and streamer.
