Controversial singer Portable has shared private messages with his former partner, Queen Dami, to counter her claim that they are no longer in a romantic relationship.

Naija News reports that he posted the chats on his social media page, though the post was later deleted.

The messages, dated January 1, 2026, showed a money transfer of ₦200,000 from Portable to Dami, followed by her message thanking him for the support.

The singer said the chats were proof that he had continued to support her and take care of her expenses.

He complained that despite all he does for the women in his life, they often fail to appreciate him, adding that he has been paying her bills until recently and does not lie.

He wrote: “I do a lot for them, but them no appreciate. Make una sha try dey appreciate who dey help una. King don’t lie. You wey don go, wetin you want make I tell you? Why you dey lie? I still dey pay your bills. Why you dey lie say I no dey exist again”.

Earlier in the week, Portable had accused Queen Dami during a live video of denying their relationship in public.

He claimed they had reconciled for some time and that he spent many nights with her.

He also said he had been feeding and supporting her, questioning why she would say they were no longer together.

Queen Dami responded by sharing a screenshot of a petition she filed against the singer.

She made it clear that she is not in a relationship with him and described him as her ex.

She denied claims that they were dating or that she visited him for sexual reasons, stating that such stories were false.

Dami said she has moved on with her life and warned Portable to stop spreading false and sexual stories about her.

She also issued another legal notice, asking the singer to withdraw and correct his statements or face legal action and possible financial claims.

The pair first went public after the death of the Alaafin of Oyo, when Dami was seen with Portable.

In a 2023 interview, the singer confirmed their relationship and said she had only been a fan before her husband’s death. Dami later openly celebrated their relationship on Valentine’s Day, calling Portable her man and expressing strong affection for him on social media.

Their relationship later turned sour, leading to a public fallout.

However, early last year, Queen Dami reconciled with Portable months after a heated online clash that attracted heavy criticism.

At the time, Portable defended her and attacked those he accused of trying to destroy his home.
