Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have parted ways with head coach Karim Zito following the club’s exit from the MTN FA Cup, ghanasportspage understands.

The decision comes after Kotoko were eliminated on penalties by Aduana FC, losing 4-2 to in the shootout after the match ended goalless at full time.

Kotoko failed to find a breakthrough over 90 minutes and extra time, before falling short from the spot to crash out of the competition.

The club is yet to officially announce an interim replacement as management reviews the team’s technical direction moving forward.
