Forty under 40 Africa founder visits Ga Mantse ahead of 2026 Awards in Accra

Richard Abbey Jnr, founder of Forty Under 40 Africa, has paid a courtesy visit to the Ga Mantse, presenting the official trophy in anticipation of the 5th edition of the Forty Under 40 Africa Awards.

The engagement, part of preparatory activities for the 2026 awards, underscores respect for traditional leadership and highlights Ghana’s cultural significance as the host nation.

The Forty Under 40 Africa Awards 2026 is scheduled for February 14, 2026, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, bringing together Africa’s most influential young leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs under the age of forty.

The awards will be preceded by a Champions Summit under the theme, “Resetting the African Mind: A Giant Step Towards Global Dominance.” The summit will also feature a curated Valentine Fashion Show and Exhibition, showcasing Ghanaian craftsmanship to the continent.

Since its inception, the platform has recognized over 2,000 exceptional African leaders across multiple sectors, fostering a pan-African network rooted in leadership, excellence, and impact. The awards celebrate young Africans driving innovation, building sustainable businesses, and contributing to economic and social development.

The 2026 edition, hosted in Ghana, is being delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Creative Arts, the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment, and the Diaspora Affairs Office of the President. This collaboration positions Ghana as a strategic hub for youth leadership, enterprise development, tourism, and investment in Africa.

Ahead of the Awards Night, a curated multi-day Ghana experience, powered by PayAngel, will take place from February 9–13, 2026, bringing together nominees, finalists, delegates, and industry leaders from over 22 African countries.

Participants will have the opportunity to experience Ghanaian delicacies at Kanzo Republic, while exploring the country’s cultural heritage, tourism destinations, creative economy, and emerging investment opportunities.

The Forty Under 40 Africa platform, initiated by Xodus Communications Limited, continues to provide a space for pacesetters, policymakers, creatives, and business leaders to connect and contribute to shaping Africa’s future. The awards are held across South Africa, the United Kingdom, Ghana, and globally in Dubai.

The 2026 edition promises to be a landmark gathering, celebrating Africa’s next generation of leaders while reaffirming Ghana’s role as a center for culture, leadership, and pan-African excellence.
