Former Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, Nenyi George Andah
Former Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West and communications professional, Nenyi George Andah, has called on members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to rise above internal camps and refocus the significance of January 31 on leadership, readiness and national responsibility.
According to him, the date should serve as a moment for sober reflection on presidential leadership and the values required to govern Ghana, rather than on internal alignments within the party.
“January 31 should remind us of leadership and readiness to govern Ghana and not camps,” he said in a recent interview on January 23, 2026.
Andah emphasised that strong political parties are built on shared values, discipline and unity of purpose and not factional loyalty.
He expressed confidence in the NPP’s ability to approach the occasion with wisdom and maturity.
Acknowledging party members who have stepped forward to offer themselves for leadership, he commended their courage, while stressing that unity must remain the guiding principle.
“To those who have stepped forward to serve, I respect your courage. To our party, I call for unity. To Ghana, I stand for leadership.”
He concluded by noting that only a united and disciplined party can credibly present leadership worthy of the trust of the Ghanaian people.
