A former member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hopeson Adorye, has made accusations against Gabby Otchere-Darko, a prominent figure within the party, suggesting that efforts are being made to have him arrested.
Speaking to Onua TV, Mr Adorye asserted that Gabby Otchere-Darko is pushing for his arrest due to what he perceives as a threat on the party.
Mr Adorye claimed that Otchere-Darko has reached out to the National Security Coordinator in an attempt to gather evidence against him.
However, Mr Adorye stated that the supposed reason for his arrest, as conveyed by the National Security Coordinator, is the unauthorized use of a siren on his vehicle.
He further alleged that Otchere-Darko explicitly instructed security officials to apprehend him as soon as he begins to move his car.
“An intel I have gathered about Gabby Otchere-Darko is that he called the National Security Coordinator to find something against me because I am disgracing the party. And the person said I am guilty of nothing but just the siren on top of my vehicle. Gabby asked them to use that against me. He instructed them to arrest me when I move my car,” he added.
