Seyram throws shots at Osei Kwame Despite’s UTV

Deborah Seyram Adablah has issued a warning to United Television, owned by Osei Kwame Despite, for excessively interfering in her personal matters and spreading false information to the public.

While various media outlets reported on the recent development of the case, which involved Seyram being ordered to pay GHC 10,000 to her sugar daddy, Mr. Nimako, it was the reports from Despite Media’s UTV that caught Seyram’s attention.

Seyram, who has been expressing her frustration on social media, has threatened to take legal action against the media house and demand compensation beyond their means. She also expressed her displeasure at the unauthorized use of her pictures, stating that her consent had not been sought.

“Hey UTV managers or whatever you are called, be very careful of how you use my name and pictures for your lies. If you joke with me, I’ll sue you and demand more than you can afford. Don’t be silly. Stop publishing lies about me, I did not give you permission to use my name and pictures for clout,” she wrote on TikTok.

Recall that following the dismissal of the case by the High Court in Accra on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, Adablah has expressed her intention to appeal. Justice John Bosco Nabarese, who delivered the ruling on November 28, acknowledged the immorality of the relationship between Adablah and the former Chief Finance Officer of a bank but concluded that Seyram Adablah’s lawsuit lacked a valid legal basis.

The court firmly asserted that it should not endorse a relationship founded on immoral acts, stating, “You cannot recover the price of something you have committed in an immoral act.” Deborah Seyram Adablah was also ordered to pay a cost of GH¢10,000.

The ruling followed an application by the ex-CFO urging the court to strike Adablah’s case. Despite not granting interviews to the media following the court’s decision, Deborah Seyram Adablah utilized her TikTok page to express her unwavering commitment to pursue the legal dispute, emphasizing that the matter is still far from resolved.

She stated:

“A young male journalist approached me today and asked what I had to say to the ruling You guys were equally in court Was that the right thing for the judge Justice John Bosco Nabarese to do? Well, my counsel will apply for the ruling and apply the LAW accordingly -The case is NOT OVER! Absolutely NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW I saw you people taking videos and pictures, make sure the ones you’ll publish are catchy yeah Thank you.”
