“Hustle make you no go fall of like Brymo” Burna Boy replies Brymo days after he was called a thief

Singer Burna Boy has finally responded to Brymo, days after Brymo called him a thief. Initially, when Brymo made those accusations, Burna Boy opted not to respond immediately. However, it seems that Burna Boy is now ready to address the situation.

In a recent freestyle song, Burna Boy directed his lyrics at Brymo, making it clear that he’s not one to take such allegations lightly. In the song, he can be heard singing, “Hustle, make you no go fall off like Brymo.” This line conveys a message that hard work is essential to avoid fading into obscurity in the music entertainment industry, much like Brymo, according to Burna Boy.

This feud between Brymo and Burna Boy began back in September when Brymo publicly criticized Burna Boy, labeling him as “very fake” and “very unoriginal.” Brymo even questioned Burna Boy’s Grammy win, claiming that every one of his songs is a sample or a stolen slogan. Moreover, Brymo accused Burna Boy of intellectual property theft, suggesting that such actions constitute a crime and should result in jail time. It was this series of allegations that finally prompted Burna Boy to respond.

However, this is not the first time Burna Boy has faced criticism and backlash. Back in September, fans were displeased with his silence during an election tribunal. Given that his music often touches on political and economic issues in the country, many were surprised by his lack of vocal engagement during this crucial period. Some fans referred to him as an “audio African giant” and accused him of capitalizing on economic crises to promote his songs.

In addition to this, in June of 2023, Burna Boy had engaged in a public spat with Paul Okoye after the latter placed a 5 million Naira bid on his fans during a live video. This incident further showcased Burna Boy’s penchant for responding to criticisms and controversies.
