A man in Kawambwa, Luapula province has been arrested and charged with the offence of bestiality after he was found having sex with a goat.
The suspect, Chipute Silwamba, who is 20 years old, was apprehended on Monday around 14 hours in Chibwe village in Chief Munkanta’s area.
The Luapula Province Police Commanding Officer, Fwambo Siame, confirmed the arrest of Silwamba. Siame explained that the suspect was found by the general public having sexual intercourse with the she-goat in a rubbish pit.
The animal has also been kept by veterinary officers for medical examination.
