Transfer: Done deal; Chelsea want to extend Zakaria’s stay; PSG reportedly keeping tabs on Saliba

Done deal: LAFC Signs Mateusz Bogusz From Leeds United

LAFC announced today that the Club has acquired midfielder Mateusz Bogusz on a permanent transfer from Leeds United, signing him to a four-year contract through 2026 with a Club option for 2027. Bogusz will be added to LAFC’s roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa.

Chelsea want to extend Zakaria’s stay at Stamford Bridge

Since signing from Borussia Monchengladbach last year, Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria has attracted the attention of clubs across Europe. He signed on loan for Chelsea in January, and according to a report by CalcioMercatoWeb, the club are interested in extending his stay in London. The 26-year-old could be kept in the ranks after his deal runs out in the summer, as part of a part-exchange deal, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek being floated as a potential replacement to use within a swap deal.

PSG reportedly keeping tabs on Saliba

PSG have a long-standing interest in William Saliba, according to journalist Jonathan Johnson. The French defender has been a revelation this season for Arsenal and has become a first-team regular under Mikel Arteta. His assured performances at the back have reportedly turned heads at the Parc des Princes. In his column for Caught Offside, Johnson cited Saliba’s association with Marseille as one of the reasons why the transfer might not materialise.
