Ghana’s problem is politics- Rashad says

Renowned Ghanaian blogger, Rashad Emmanuel as he is popularly known is of the view that politics in Ghana is doing more harm than good to Ghana, noting that it has retarded the growth of the country.

Rashad’s comment comes following a post by comedian, OB Amponsah that targetted the minister for tourism, culture and creative arts, labeling her as minister for “TouEweism”.

Even though OB Amponsah immediately deleted the post on his official Facebook page among other social media platforms, the topic has become topic of online discussion, making numerous people of prominence, including the boss of GH Page to add his cent.

Unlike many others that have commented on the issue, Rashad believes that OB Amponsah’s post has nothing to do with ethnic groups, claiming that the post is politically motivated.

According to Rashad, “There is an issue of OB Amponsah making a post about the minister for culture, Abla Dzifa. Yes, Kwaku, what he said, the reality of the matter is that I’ve seen that Ashantes are very angry. I have also seen that Ewes are also angry and the two have been firing shots at each other. But the reality is that it has nothing to do with tribes, his post is politically motivated. The NPP is using it to mock the NDC, and the NDC on the other hand is also retaliating that he is an NPP and working for them. Our problem in this country is politics. Many are acting as though Ashantis and Ewes do not go into relationships or marriages. They have been chopping themselves, it is the politics”.
