Sifuna’s Head of Communication Breaks Silence As Police Raid Home of Natembeya in Milimani,Says This
Pauline Njoroge, serving as Head of Communication at the National Secretariat of Sifuna’s camp has broken her silence following the security raid on Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya’s private home in Milimani, Kitale town.
The opposition communication chief has issued an official statement condemning the police operation, confirming that security officers have raided the governor’s residence in an attempt to harass and intimidate him, though they have failed to locate him on the premises.
Through the Linda Mwananchi platform, Njoroge has sharply criticized President William Ruto’s administration for deploying heavy police machinery and state force to suppress opposition voices defending constitutional devolution.
She has noted that the national government’s aggressive actions at both the county headquarters and Natembeya’s private estate have confirmed a growing reliance on state machinery as a political survival mechanism.
According to her statement, the ongoing persecution of the county chief has only emboldened defenders of devolution to resist unlawful attempts to roll back Kenya’s democratic gains.
Furthermore, Njoroge has clarified that the Masinde Muliro Market project was initiated and funded by the Trans Nzoia County Government at a cost of KSh 874 million, making central government interference a direct violation of constitutional boundaries.
Ahe has expressed solidarity with Natembeya and the residents of Trans Nzoia, assuring them that the broader Kenyan public has remained firmly behind their struggle for administrative autonomy.
By speaking out against the residential raid, the Secretariat’s communication office has highlighted the national significance of the Kitale standoff.
Njoroge has urged opposition supporters and local residents to stand firm, reiterating that state intimidation tactics will not succeed in silencing leaders who uphold the rule of law and protect devolved public infrastructure.
