Details have emerged about the final disturbing message a man allegedly sent to his girlfriend’s family after her suspected murder in Nairobi.

According to her relatives, the man threatened to kill the young woman’s mother, younger sister and 15-year-old brother, warning that he would eliminate the entire family.The threats have sparked fear among the relatives as they mourn 21-year-old Faruz Hussein, whose death has left her family devastated.

According to the family, Faruz died following an argument with her boyfriend in the Githurai Sunton area of Nairobi.

The man allegedly suffocated her with a pillow before sharing videos of the incident with her relatives.

The family claims that the threats have made it difficult for them to mourn peacefully.

They are now worried about the safety of Faruz’s mother and younger siblings, who were allegedly named in the warning.

Faruz’s death was reported at Sunton Police Station in Kasarani on September 30, 2026.Documents shared by her relatives indicate that the case was recorded as a suspected murder under Occurrence Book number 37.

A letter addressed to a mortuary superintendent identifies Faruz as the deceased and states that her body was recovered from a house in the Githurai Sunton area.

The documents have added to the information being shared by the family as they seek answers about her death.

The relatives are appealing to the authorities to investigate the suspected murder and take the reported threats seriously.

They also want the police to ensure that the surviving family members are safe.

The case attracted further attention after former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko announced a reward on social media for credible information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest.The announcement came as members of the public called for justice for Faruz and urged investigators to act on the family’s concerns.
