Kalenjin Elders Meet Ruto in Eldoret, Agree to Embrace His New Slogan (Photos)

President Ruto hosted 5000 Kalenjin elders today at Eldoret State Lodge where they agreed to embrace his new political slogan.

According to an update issued on social media, President Ruto met several Kalenjin Elders to discuss and consult on some issues. During the meeting they agreed to embrace Ruto’s new slogan “Usawa ni Sawa, Mbele Pamoja”

“We agreed to embrace “Usawa ni Sawa, Mbele Pamoja” as our rallying call for unity, equitable development and shared prosperity.” Reads an update issued on William Ruto’s social media account in part.

President Ruto has been repeatedly using the slogan during his North Rift Development tour. Today at Eldoret State Lodge, Ruto and Kalenjin elders embraced the slogan as their rallying call for unity, equitable development and shared prosperity. Remember Ruto used the ‘Bottom Up, Kazi ni Kazi’ slogan towards the 2022 general elections. This now means that he has adopted a new slogan ‘Usawa ni Sawa, Mbele Pamoja’ towards the 2027 general elections.

The Kalenjin elders hosted by Ruto at State Lodge were drawn from the North and South Rift Regions. Other than embracing the new slogan, they took stock of development progress in the region. Areas requiring further attention were also identified during the meeting.
