RIP: Beautiful Photos of Nairobi Woman Who Was Brutally Murdered by Her Boyfriend in Kasarani

The family and friends of Feruz Hussein, a 21-year-old woman allegedly murdered by her boyfriend in Nairobi’s Kasarani area, are mourning her death as police intensify efforts to apprehend the suspect.

Hussein reportedly died after her boyfriend, Nelson Ambia, allegedly suffocated her with a pillow following a domestic disagreement at their residence in Sunton, Kasarani.

The case has attracted widespread attention following claims that Ambia recorded the incident and sent the footage to Hussein’s family, adding to the grief and distress experienced by her relatives.

The incident was reported at Sunton Police Station in Kasarani Sub-County on September 30, 2026, under Occurrence Book number 37. Police subsequently launched investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the young woman’s death.

Documents obtained by Citizen Digital, including a police report acknowledgement and a letter addressed to a mortuary superintendent, indicate that the case was recorded as a suspected murder.

The mortuary admission letter identifies Hussein as the deceased and states that her body was recovered from a house in the Githurai Sunton area. Investigators were expected to conduct a postmortem examination to help determine the cause of death and obtain further evidence relevant to the case.

Meanwhile, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has offered a KSh 50,000 reward to anyone who provides credible information that leads to Ambia’s arrest.

In a social media post, Sonko appealed to members of the public to assist the authorities in locating the suspect. He claimed that Ambia had recently been spotted in Kakamega County after allegedly fleeing Nairobi.

Sonko urged anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to report it to the nearest police station. He also warned the public against attempting to confront or apprehend Ambia themselves, emphasising the need to allow law enforcement officers to handle the matter.

Hussein’s death has left her loved ones devastated as they seek answers about the circumstances that led to the tragedy. The allegations surrounding the incident have also raised concerns about domestic violence and the devastating consequences of conflicts within intimate relationships.

As investigations continue, Hussein’s family hopes that the suspect will be arrested and the circumstances surrounding her death fully established.

Police are continuing their efforts to trace Ambia and gather evidence as the case progresses. The allegations against him have not been determined in court.
