The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is the governing body of association football in Ghana and is dedicated to the development, promotion, and regulation of the sport at all levels. As part of its strategic objective to upgrade sports infrastructure and improve camping conditions for national teams, technical staff, and other stakeholders, the GFA intends to construct a modern, fully functional 40-bed accommodation facility at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE), Prampram.

The GFA invites prospective eligible and competent construction firms to submit expressions of interest for the execution of this project.

The services required will include:

  • Complete design and construction, commissioning, and handover of the proposed 40-bed accommodation facility and training centre to the Ghana Football Association in accordance with Ghanaian building regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards.

A Firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended, of the Republic of Ghana and GFA’s Procurement Policy.

Interested firms must provide verifiable evidence demonstrating their technical and financial capacity and legal eligibility to undertake this project. Submissions must include the following documentation:

  • Legal Status: Valid Certificate of Incorporation and Certificate to Commence Business (issued by the Registrar General’s Department, Ghana).
  • Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT certificate, and SSNIT Clearance Certificate.
  • Industry Registration: Valid Ministry of Roads and Highways / Ministry of Works and Housing Certification (Class K1, D1 or equivalent preferred). Firms must show evidence of registering with the Public Procurement Authority.
  • Technical Capacity: Profile of the firm, including qualifications and experience of key technical personnel (Project Managers, Architects, Structural/ Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors,  Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers).
  • Experience: Evidence of at least two (2) similar structures or commercial building projects successfully completed within the last five (5) years, including completion certificates or reference letters.
  • Financial Capability: Audited financial statements for the past three (3) years or a line of credit from a reputable financial institution.

Expressions of Interest must be written in English and submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:

“Expression of Interest for the Construction of a 40-Bed Accommodation Facility – Ref: GFA/PROC/ACCOM/2026/01”

Submissions must be delivered to the address below on or before Friday 9th June 2026 at 5pm.

Following the evaluation of the EOI submissions, shortlisted firms will be formally invited to submit a proposal for Design and Build.

The GFA reserves the right to accept or reject any submission and is not bound to automatically shortlist any applicant.
