West Africa’s manufacturing, packaging and processing industries are set to receive a major boost as Propak West Africa 2026 returns to Lagos from September 8 to 10, bringing together global technology providers, regional manufacturers and industry experts to explore innovations aimed at improving productivity, efficiency and sustainability.
The annual exhibition, scheduled to hold at the Landmark Centre, Oniru Lagos is expected to attract hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of trade visitors from across Africa and beyond. It will feature cutting-edge technologies and solutions for the packaging, plastics, printing, labelling and food processing industries.
According to Mark Anderson, Portfolio Director at Montgomery Group Limited, the organizers
said the “ event comes at a time when manufacturers are facing increasing pressure to improve operational efficiency, embrace sustainable production practices and remain competitive amid rapidly changing consumer demands and technological advancements.”
Beyond showcasing products and equipment, the exhibition will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, investment opportunities and business partnerships, connecting local industries with international technology providers.
A dedicated conference running alongside the exhibition will bring together production and packaging professionals to discuss emerging trends, innovations and strategies shaping the future of manufacturing across the region.
Leading Nigerian exhibitors expected at the event include Beta Glass Nigeria, SBA Nigeria, PET Associates and Bristol Scientific Company, reflecting growing investment in the country’s industrial and processing sectors.
International participation will also be strong, with companies such as Windmöller & Hölscher, Reifenhäuser Blown Film, Piovan Group, Nissei ASB Africa, Clearpack Group, Snetor and Vinmar International among exhibitors showcasing advanced manufacturing technologies.
Sustainability will remain a key focus of this year’s event, with support from organisations including the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), the Recyclers Association of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology, the Food and Beverage Alliance, the African Packaging Organisation and several other industry bodies promoting responsible packaging and circular economy initiatives.
The exhibition will also highlight gender inclusion through a partnership with Girls Who Print Africa, which will host the inaugural Women in Print & Packaging session during the Propak West Africa Summit. The forum is expected to examine opportunities, challenges and strategies for increasing women’s participation and leadership in the print and packaging industries.
