Jackie Appiah, Martha Ankomah, other actors mourn with Beverly Afaglo’s family

Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah and her manager have visited the residence of late actress Beverly Afaglo to commiserate with her bereaved family following her passing.

The visit formed part of a growing show of support from colleagues within Ghana’s entertainment industry after news of the actress’ death emerged.

Actresses Roselyn Ngissah, Gloria Sarfo and Martha Ankomah, together with other industry colleagues, also paid their condolences to the family.

Actor James Gardiner, who was among the personalities who joined the family to mourn the late actress, couldn’t hold back his tears when he arrived at the house.

The family of Beverly Afaglo earlier confirmed that she passed away in the early hours of Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema after battling cancer.

In a statement issued by Cine-God Studios and her management, the family announced that her one-week observation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Green Flavour Events Centre at Community 9 in Tema.

The event is expected to take place from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The late actress was widely known in Ghana’s movie and television industry and was admired for her performances in several productions over the years.
