The Kenya Animal Genetic Resources Centre (KAGRC) has advertised jobs for Kenyan professionals, offering permanent and pensionable terms.

KAGRC is mandated to produce, preserve, conserve and distribute animal genetic materials.
The state corporation under the Ministry of Agriculture advertised the vacant positions in the Government Advertising Agency, MyGov, on Tuesday, May 19.
“KAGRC seeks to recruit qualified persons to fill the following positions,” it stated.

What is the application process for KAGRC jobs?
The state corporation asked interested and qualified candidates to submit their academic, professional and other documents online through its recruitment portal.
Alternatively, job seekers can apply for the positions using the official KAGRC recruitment email or hand deliver their applications to KAGRC main office in Lower Kabete, Nairobi.
“Interested and eligible applicants are asked to apply online via the KAGRC recruitment portal, via email at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]), or in person at the KAGRC offices on Kapenguria Road in Lower Kabete, Nairobi,” it explained.

KAGRC set a deadline of Tuesday, June 2, for candidates to submit their applications.
“Candidates who meet the above requirements should submit their applications by 2nd June 2026 at 5.00 pm addressed to the managing director, Kenya Animal Genetic Resources Centre, P.O. Box 23070-00604, Lower Kabete, Nairobi,” it added.

Ingari pointed out that the current recruitment system filters CVs using AI before recruiters peruse them.
“Make sure your resume is one to two pages and ATS friendly by using keywords. Do not use the same resume for every vacancy. Tailor make it to suit the advertised role,” he told TUKO.co.ke.

Which jobs did WRA advertise?
In other news, The Water Resources Authority (WRA) announced 120 job vacancies across technical, scientific, administrative, and support sectors.
The available positions range from chauffeurs and office assistants to senior water resources officers, with applications open to qualified Kenyans.
Successful candidates will be employed on permanent and pensionable terms after completing a six-month probationary period.
