NPP Can Win 2028 Elections If Unity Prevails — Prince AmoakoAtta

A Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the University College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies, Mr. Prince Amoako‑Atta, says the party’s chances in the 2028 general elections hinge on one critical factor: unity.

In an exclusive interview with the Correspondent, Mr. Amoako‑Atta emphasized that the NPP can return to power only if its members bury their political differences and work together toward a common goal.

According to him, presenting a united front—regardless of internal positions or past disagreements—is the surest way to defeat the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2028.

“We have to work together as a formidable and vibrant political party and reinforce our unity to maintain the core aspects of the party,” he stated.

The Communications Officer expressed optimism that the NPP could emerge victorious in the next elections if peace and cohesion are prioritized across all levels of the party. He argued that the NPP remains the only political tradition capable of addressing the country’s current challenges.

While urging Ghanaians to rally behind the NPP and contribute to its electoral fortunes, Mr. Amoako‑Atta also appealed to the party’s national leadership to intensify efforts to reconcile aggrieved members, noting that healing internal rifts will significantly boost the party’s chances in 2028.
