Big Brother Naija star, Beauty Tukura, has given an update on the welfare of reality TV star Ilebaye Odiniya.
Naija News reports that Ilebaye had sparked concern on social media after an emotional livestream appeared to show her in distress following an alleged assault.
The video, which circulated online in the early hours of Saturday, showed the reality TV star crying and pleading for help.
She was also seen with visible facial swelling. In the livestream, Ilebaye repeatedly called for assistance while asking to be allowed to leave.
In a post on Instagram, Beauty Tukura quickly intervened, asking Nigerians to help track down Ilebaye’s number and location in Abuja.
“Please, who can track a number. Ilebaye isn’t reachable anymore. She was about to send her location. Please, who can help?
“She said she’s in Abuja
“Help is on the way. Ah!!!”
In a fresh update, Beauty confirmed that Ilebaye Odiniya is no longer in harm’s way.
She assured fans that the situation is now under control, adding that while Ilebaye is safe. She stated that the full details of the incident belong to Ilebaye to share in her own time
