Frank Odhiambo Speaks Ahead of Harambee Stars Clash Against Estonia

Frank Odhiambo expressed that the team must build on the energy and structure shown in their previous outing against Estonia, stressing the importance of maintaining momentum as they prepare for their next fixture.

He noted that the squad’s approach should continue to evolve, with the match against Grenada seen as an opportunity to strengthen cohesion and further develop their overall style of play.

The Harambee Stars defender also highlighted the need for strong collaboration between the coaching staff and players, explaining that unity within the technical setup would be key in getting the best out of the group.

Frank Odhiambo added that the focus is on starting the game positively and giving supporters something encouraging to take forward, while also acknowledging disappointment from the previous penalty defeat.

He pointed out that the aim is to end the tournament on a strong note with improved performances and renewed confidence.

“It’s about bringing out the passion, the consistency from the build-up game that we had previously against Estonia. As a team, we just need to come up because we need tomorrow’s match to be more of a build-up phase going forward,” Frank Odhiambo said.

“Definitely, we just need the coach and the technical bench to be able to work as a unit and bring the best out of the team. So hopefully tomorrow we start on a high note and give the team a step forward and the country, something to be proud of.

“It was unfortunate that we lost the match through penalties, and going forward, we want to finish up this tournament on a high note.”
