Assin Bereku (C/R), Feb. 12, GNA- Two schools in the Assin enclave have received 20 computers with accessories from Hatch House Foundation (HHF), a non-governmental organisation to enhance the teaching and learning of ICT.
The two beneficiary schools are Assin Bereku Nyamebekyere Basic School in the Assin North District and Assin Odumase Catholic Basic School in the Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central Region.
Each school received 10 computers with accessories.

Mrs Stephanie Adawu, member of HHF who presented the items on behalf of Mr Yayib Sheriff, Chief Executive Officer, said the donation would help bridge the digital gap and improve on the quality of ICT education in the Area.
More than 1,000 students across the two schools who have difficulty accessing the practicable aspect of computing would benefit from the gesture.
Madam Adawu encouraged the students to take their studies seriously and strive to become prominent people in the near future.
Receiving the items, Mr Emmanuel Kwabena Odoom, headmaster of Assin Bereku Nyamebekyere, and Mrs Theresa Amoah, headmistress of Assin Odumase JHS expressed gratitude to the Foundation for the timely support and appealed for projectors as well.

They lauded the initiative of the organisation to help relieve the plight of some schools in the country and appealed to individuals and other organisations to support them.
