Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson and his sister, Dakore Akande, have laid their father to rest.
Naija News recalls that earlier in January, Timini announced the passing of their father in a heartfelt message, admitting that he never imagined beginning the year with such a loss.
On his Instagram page on Friday, Timini shared photos from the private final farewell ceremony, attended only by close family members.
Timini stated that they had said their last goodbye, describing his father as a source of strength and love.
He said, “We said our final goodbyes. Rest well, Papa. Your strength and love will always guide me.”
Meanwhile, Timini recently spoke about one of the biggest regrets of his life, revealing that his strong focus on work and money led to the loss of a woman he believes was his soulmate.
The actor shared that at the time, there were no major problems between them, as she only wanted him to be more present in the relationship.
However, Timini was deeply invested in building his career and securing financial success, believing that providing money was the best way to show love.
In an interview with Jay On Air, the actor explained that he expected his partner to understand his constant absence, as he felt pressured to work hard and secure a future.
Over time, this mindset created a gap between them, and she eventually moved on and married someone else who could give her the attention he could not offer then.
