Actor Carlo Radebe Overwhelmed by Support Amid Financial Struggles

Actor Carlo Radebe, best known for his roles in ‘How To Steal 2 Million’  has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support he received after news broke of his financial hardships. In a heartfelt message shared on social media Radebe conveyed his appreciation to his supporters and expressed excitement about returning to the acting scene.

In an exclusive interview with the Citizen, “What you have shown me over the course of several days… has no words,” Radebe expressed, acknowledging the support guided by his friend Mauritz Neethling. Neethling had initially revealed Radebe’s struggles, highlighting the actor’s eviction from his previous residence and reliance on a government grant of only R350 per month.

Amidst the challenging circumstances, Neethling’s post included Radebe’s banking details, prompting fans to contribute funds to assist the actor. Overwhelmed by the response, Radebe conveyed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation emphasised his determination to get back on set and resume his passion for acting.

“I am looking forward to getting back on set and shooting. By God’s Grace all will be well. I thank all the shoutouts and certain individuals who have galvanize on their platforms,” he shared during the interview.

The Duma Ndlovu Actors’ Academy (DNA) also played a pivotal role in reconnecting with Radebe after launching a search effort following news of his struggles. Founded by renowned television director and producer Duma Ndlovu, DNA aims to nurture talent and provide opportunities in the entertainment industry.

“We would like to thank all of South Africa for helping us find Mr. Carlo,” stated DNA in a brief statement, expressing relief at locating Radebe and affirming their commitment to supporting aspiring actors.

With the unwavering support from fans and the entertainment community, Radebe remains hopeful for a brighter future, eager to overcome his challenges and reignite his passion for acting.
