It was early last week when a man was hijacked at the CBD of springs at Ekurhuleni. Just like any hijacking, the victim was left in aware of shock and scared for himself. However, he was left unharmed. The hijacker only took the car.

The Victim had lost hope in finding his car until he went to the Central Business District to conduct personal duties. While busy with his duties, his eyes locked with what seemed to be his car. He was in disbelieve because the car looked like his and it had the same number plate.

He remained calm and decided to alert the police. The police came right in time before the hijacker could flee. When the hijacker saw the police, it was too late for him to escape, so he remained where he was and waited for the police to take action.

Captain Johannes Ramaphora said the Hijacker couldn’t provide papers of the car that shows that he is the owner or he bought it from someone nor did he answer where he got the car or whom it belonged to.

The car was then taken to the springs police station and the suspect will appear in court in connection with the Hijacking.

The car owner told Daily Sun that he couldn’t believe his eyes, he thought he was dreaming. He further mentioned that he didn’t want to approach the hijacker as he might have fee the scene and could end up losing his car forever.

“I thought the angels had abounded me but they have proven to be with me all the time,” he said
