“28 years today Mummy, The older I get, the more I need you. The pain never goes away. The What Ifs never cease.
I miss you everyday Mummy.Every Single Day!! Do you miss me too? Does it break your heart as much as it breaks mine? I hope you’re proud of me. I’m still a coconut head, living Life on her own terms.
But somewhere in all of that. I often think. I hope Mummy is proud. Daddy beams with pride every single day, he calls me Dr Nancy Isime sometimes and that makes me smile…. a lot.
I’d give anything to have you type those words to me too. Something about making the 2 humans responsible for bringing me into this world proud , makes me really happy.
