ZIMBAMBWE – There was drama in Plumtree where a sex starved man broke into his estranged girlfriend’s room and tried to steal blankets before dozing in the room.
The matter came to light at Plumtree magistrates courts yesterday where Zibusiso Nkomo was sentenced to two years in prison by magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
Nembaware conditionally suspended six months of the sentence.
Prosecutor Selestine Madziwa told the court that on October 11 Nkomo went to his Tubelihle Dube the ex-girlfriend’s room around in the afternoon and found her there.
He demanded for sex and was denied before being chased away.
He came back the following morning around 3 am and broke the door.
While inside Nkomo who was under the influence of alcohol found no one and decide to loot blankets.
After packing them in a back he fell asleep and was eventually busted by Dube.
He managed to escape and goods worth ZAR6000 were recovered.
