The second Niger Bridge has almost gotten to it’s completion following the recent photos from the site of the project which runs from Delta state to Anambra state.
According to the photos shared by one of the media aides to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr Buhari Sallau on his Facebook Page showing the rate of work done as at Thursday, 18th of August 2022, the contractors handling the project have successfully placed an Asphalt binder course on the surface of the bridge. Also, street lights have been installed on the bridge too.
The President of Nigeria has always expressed his desire to complete this gigantic project that commenced even before he came onto power in 2015 and also commission it ahead of his handover to a newly elected regime next year. But with the rate at which the work is been carried out, President Muhammadu Buhari could even commission the project this year.
