All I want is to go to a 4*Town concert.
There are so many reasons to love Pixar’s latest movie, Turning Red. Super-cute characters! Asian representation! An honest portrayal of the ups and downs of puberty! And, of course, an awesome cast.

One of my personal favorite parts of the movie is the fictional boy band Mei and her friends are obsessed with, 4*Town.
Obviously, I’m also pretty obsessed! So, for fellow fans everywhere, here’s a look at the 4*Town characters and the actors/singers who voice them:
First up, here’s Jordan Fisher as Robaire.

His character description: “Originally from Toronto, Robaire is the leader of 4*Town for a reason. He can sing, he can dance, and he will eventually have a successful solo career, but until then, he’s content to jam on the tour bus.”
On top of acting, Jordan is a singer, dancer, and musician. You probably remember him as the dreamy John Ambrose in To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, but he’s also a Broadway star! He played John Laurens/Philip Hamilton in Hamilton, and he also starred as Evan Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen.

On top of that, he voiced Sea Hawk in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, starred in several more shows and live TV musicals, and juggles acting with a singing career.
Next, here’s Topher Ngo as Aaron T.

His character description: “Acrobatic, fast-talking, and a natural comedian, ‘T’ is always there to break the tension when life on the road gets tense.”

Here’s Josh Levi as Aaron Z.

His character description: “Stoic and a little shy, ‘Z’ is the athlete of 4*Town and, as the strongest dancer, coordinates a lot with the band’s moves.”
Outside of acting, Josh is a singer and dancer IRL. You might recognize him as Darius on Friday Night Lights. He was also a finalist on The X Factor.

Here’s Grayson Villanueva as Tae Young.

His character description: “The youngest member of 4*Town, a lover of animals, Tae Young is dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation and has personally fostered injured doves between tours.”
You might recognize him as Manny’s roommate on Modern Family! He also plays guitar, sings, and edits videos.
And finally, here’s Finneas O’Connell as Jesse.

His character description: “The oldest member of 4*Town, Jesse was in art school pursuing a degree in ceramics before the band took off. When fame starts getting to his head, throwing clay on his potter’s wheel and spending time with his two kids brings him back down to earth.”
Finneas is a singer-songwriter and producer in real life. He’s also had roles on Modern Family and Glee. Oh yeah, and he’s Billie Eilish’s brother!

He and Billie collabed on three original songs for 4*Town to perform in Turning Red: “U Know What’s Up,” “1 True Love,” and “Nobody Like U.”
