Just a couple of weeks back, the internet broke into a million pieces when we learned that Rihanna was expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky.

Though the two music stars have been romantically linked to other people over the years (Rihanna with Drake and billionaire Hassan Jameel, and A$AP with Kendall Jenner, etc.), they are / were longtime friends.

A whole 10 years ago, back in 2012, A$AP Rocky guested on a remix of Rihanna’s single “Cockiness (Love It).” That same year, they performed at the MTV VMAs, where A$AP snuck in a little tush grab!

The following year, in 2013, A$AP Rocky joined Rihanna on her Diamonds World Tour as the opening act.

In September 2013, Rihanna starred in A$AP Rocky’s “Fashion Killa” video, which had them playing a VERY stylish couple.

After that, it would be a whole five years before we saw them together again in public. In 2018, A$AP and Rih were sitting front row at the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week.

In December 2020, they went on vacation together to Rihanna’s country of Barbados. And for NYE, Rih rocked a pair of Amina Muaddi gladiator sandals designed in collaboration with the rapper’s creative agency, AWGE.
In May 2021, A$AP Rocky got candid in a cover story with GQ, describing Rihanna as the “love of my life” and “the one.”
