Accra: Multiple vehicle collision at Ofankor barrier, about 5 dead, heavy morning traffic congestion being experienced in that area

There is a multiple vehicle collision at Ofankor barrier in Accra.

According to the Ghana National Service Fire (GNFS), about five deaths have been recorded with several injuries.

The accident vehicles include a tipper truck, a mini bus and a tricycle (aboboyaa).

There is a mounting heavy morning vehicle traffic congestion in that area.

Personnel from fire service and the police are at the scene to rescue the injured and maintain law and order.
