BIMA Ghana  Staff  Embark On Health Walk

As part of its efforts of promoting a healthy lifestyle among its workers, the BIMA fastest growing Micro-Insurance Company has embarked on a health walk in Accra.

The health walk was aimed at engaging the staff of BIMA in a fun and healthy exercise. Since the company needs exuberant and active staff who will stand tall to render quality services to their clients.

More so , the event was organised to create awareness and also promote the BIMA Doctor Health Service which has over 40,000 customers accessing medical advice over their phone.

For just GHC 2 per month, the BIMA Doctor service gives unlimited consultations with a doctor or physician assistant over the phone for you and your family.

One of BIMA’s doctors explained the benefits of exercise: “Exercise such as walking, jogging and aerobics is very beneficial for maintaining a healthy body weight, preventing obesity and lowering blood pressure. Exercise keeps your heart and lungs healthy. It’s also great for reducing stress”. BIMA’s health walk demonstrate to its customers in Accra Central that its own staff are living up to their mission of being healthy.

Since 2010, BIMA Ghana has grown to over 650 staff nationwide, comprised of vibrant and passionate individuals trained to deliver the best customer service. BIMA uses social events to create a culture where everyone feels at home. Underpinning BIMA’s culture is their values, which are practically followed by all employees. BIMA’s three core values are “Think Big and Start small”, “Give and Earn Respect” and “Take Ownership”.

BIMA (Milvik Ghana Ltd) is a corporate insurance agent and health services provider in Ghana. It has over 80,000 customers on its life, hospital and accident insurance policies underwritten by Prudential Life, and over 40,000 customers on its BIMA Doctor service providing medical advice over the phone.
