As innovation continues to evolve, Market Makers has launched a state-of-the-art podcast studio to support creatives and content creators in meeting international standards, competing globally, and increasing the visibility of podcasting in Nigeria and across Africa.

The grand opening was held on February 20, 2026, at Blossom Heritage Building, 5 Bashorun Apampa Road, Jericho, Ibadan, Oyo State, where the studio is located. The event was attended by well-wishers, dignitaries, media personalities, popular actors, and content creators.

The ceremony officially commenced with an opening prayer led by Apostle David Oloke, who encouraged aspiring individuals to invest in their dreams and concluded with prayers for growth and success.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Soji George, Managing Director of Market Makers, reflected on his long-standing experience in the core banking industry and various business ventures. He explained that the company decided to diversify into the media and entertainment industry following the strategic pitch presented by Oluwagbemiga Ayomide Beloved, a talented media expert and brand strategist.

According to him, the entertainment industry is highly sensitive and requires proper structure and optimization. The idea of establishing a podcast studio was conceived to promote creativity and develop talent both within and outside Nigeria. He further stated that Market Makers envisions a future where the podcast studio could eventually expand into a full radio station.

Oluwagbemiga Ayomide Beloved, the Visioneer and Executive Director of Podpulse Studio Services, expressed profound gratitude to God, Market Makers, and everyone present for being part of a historic moment.

In his words:

“Today is not just about opening doors… today is about opening possibilities. Every great vision begins quietly — sometimes as an idea nobody else sees, sometimes as a dream that refuses to sleep even when you do. There was a time when Podpulse existed only in conversations, in late-night planning, in moments of faith when resources were small but vision was big. There were days when the questions were louder than the answers… but one thing remained clear — our stories deserve excellence.”

He also acknowledged Market Makers for believing in the vision, choosing not to dismiss it, but instead supporting, nurturing, and helping to birth it into reality.

Notable guests present at the event included CEO MARKET MAKERS Mr. Ashagidigbi Kazeem Olufemi, Nollywood actor Taiwo Ibikunle; media expert and broadcaster Yemi Sonde, CEO of Yes FM; Mrs. Ryan Olaoye, Managing Director of Cloud 7; the Managing Director of Media World Films; among many others. They commended the standard of the podcast studio and expressed optimism about future partnership opportunities.
