Gachagua Missing as Methu, Kang’ata, Karungo Storm Nyahururu, Hold Massive DCP Rally Ahead of 2027

Top political leaders from the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) have made a resounding entry into Nyahururu, town, where they have convened a massive rally to champion the opposition’s energetic ‘Wantam’ (one-term) movement targeting the 2027 general elections.

According to multiple news reports, prominent political stalwarts including Nyandarua Senator John Methu, Murang’a Governor Irungu Kang’ata, and Kiambu Senator Karungo wa Thang’wa have spearheaded the spirited public campaign.

The high-octane rally has proceeded despite the notable absence of party principal Rigathi Gachagua. Addressing the enthusiastic gathering, the attending leaders have relayed a direct update regarding their boss’s whereabouts.

They have confirmed that Gachagua has taken time off to rest at his Wamunyoro residence in Nyeri County following a busy schedule and his return from an official visit to the United States.

Furthermore, they have reassured supporters that the former Deputy President has revitalized his strategy and will be rejoining public rallies across the country in due course.

During the Nyahururu gathering, the DCP leaders have systematically articulated their party’s vision while engaging thousands of resident voters.

They have effectively transformed the event into a crucial political battleground, emphasizing political accountability and economic recovery.

The convoy’s arrival in Laikipia County has energized local residents who have gathered in large numbers to listen to the opposition agenda.

As political realignments continue to gain momentum across Kenya ahead of the upcoming electoral cycle, the DCP team has demonstrated remarkable resilience and structural unity.

By taking their messages directly to urban centers, Methu, Kang’ata, and Karungo wa Thang’wa have proved that the movement’s campaign machinery has remained fully operational and determined, even when its founder is briefly resting away from the public eye.
